Pachypodium have been acknowledge as ancient ornamental plant that still exist until nowadays.
It plant is classified as rare and endangered species. That is why this exotic and beautiful plant have been searched by any collectors, researchers, and even nurseries around the world.
Many have been succeeded in develop new varities or subspecies and trade it internationally with a higher price.
But unfortunately there are only few books that review and explain about this ancient plant.
If I am not mistaken, there are only 2 books around the world that describe in details about this plant. One of them written by Dutch palaeobotanist and other by German researcher. But those two book written along time ago (in 1970’s if I am not mistaken), so you can not expect to get more new information from those two books.
